Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to count visits, clicks and scrolling in aggregate. It sets no advertising cookies, and visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland are measured without analytics cookies.
The Visitors section on the home page shows these totals. It never shows anything about an individual visitor.
Daily quiz
When you answer the daily quiz, your three picks are added to anonymous totals so you can see how everyone else answered. No names, emails or IP addresses are stored. To count each player once a day, the site keeps a one-way scrambled code that can't be turned back into who you are.
Games and your progress
Game scores, unlocked endings and quiz streaks are saved only in your own browser, so they stay on your device and are never sent to the site. Clearing your browser data resets them.
Comments
If you send a note with the envelope button, your name, email, message and the page you were on are emailed to the site owner so they can read it and reply. Nothing is published, and your email is only used to reply to you.
