Arguments
- Lorelai vs Luke: At Luke's counter, after she tells him Max proposed, Luke needles her with intrusive questions (where to live, work, kids, joint accounts); Lorelai gets irritated and tells him it's none of his business
- Rory vs Richard: At her celebration dinner Rory defends Dean as Richard grills and belittles him; Richard says she can't speak to him that way and leaves the table, Rory walks out
Apologies
- Rory to Dean: Grandpa attacking him at dinner ('I am so sorry Dean')
Lies and secrets
- Lorelai from Emily: Her engagement to Max; Emily learns from Sookie's shower call instead
- Lorelai from Rory: Lies that her distraction is 'stuff stuff,' not Max, while deciding to say yes
- Sookie from Lorelai: Planning a surprise wedding shower/engagement party
Romance
- Lorelai and Max: engaged
- Rory and Dean: start
- Rory and Dean: kiss
Hugs and "I love you"s
